By using the materials on imarabetcasino.com, you agree to what is set out below. The materials are informational: we describe how the Imarabet casino platform works, but we do not encourage anyone to gamble and we are not responsible for your decisions.
Who this site is for
Adults; in Kenya, that means anyone aged 18 or over. It is the reader’s own responsibility to check whether gambling is permitted in their jurisdiction. The platform is aimed at Kenya: the operator determines a user’s location and blocks access where such activity is prohibited. It treats circumventing these restrictions with a VPN as a breach and accepts no responsibility for the consequences.
The legal standing of Imarabet casino
Imarabet casino differs from most of the brands we cover: its licence is a local one. The operator, Solid Gaming Limited, is registered in Nairobi (Sangalai Complex, 1st Floor, Jacob Chege Drive) and holds two permits from the Betting Control and Licensing Board under the Betting, Lotteries and Gaming Act, Cap 131: BK 0000763 for sports betting and PG 0000452 for casino.
For a player, this means three practical things. Disputes are governed by Kenyan law, and the courts of Kenya are the forum for them; arbitration, should it come to that, takes place in Nairobi under the Arbitration Act 1995. If the operator’s response is unsatisfactory, a complaint can be escalated to the BCLB, a body a player can approach directly. The market, however, is in a transitional phase: powers are being handed over to a new regulator under the Gambling Control Act 2025, operators face re-registration, and for now Imarabet’s documents still name the BCLB. Licence numbers are worth checking against the current register; during the transition period that check is essential.
Discrepancies in the operator’s documents
The same figures are stated differently on the site and in Imarabet’s terms of use, and the operator uses both currency abbreviations, KSh and KES. Two examples: winnings tax is described on the site as 5% on withdrawal, and in the terms as 20% withheld at source on the full payout; the withdrawal ceiling is 100,000 KSh on the site, while the terms give an example featuring 1,000,000 KES. In the terms these figures come with the word “for example”, so formally they are illustrations, but a gap of that size is better clarified with support before a large sum sits in your account. The full table of discrepancies is set out in our breakdown of the platform.
Terms that only come to light later
Four provisions in the operator’s documents worth knowing about in advance.
- A year without a login turns the account dormant. If there is no login, no bet and no deposit for 365 days, the account becomes dormant. An empty account is closed without notice; where a balance remains and the holder has not responded within 28 days, 200 KES or 5% of the balance is deducted every 28 days until nothing is left.
- Withdrawing without playing carries a fee. If you fund the account and immediately request a payout without placing a single bet, up to 8% is withheld; where a bonus has been used, 10%.
- Winnings are capped. One million shillings per ticket and the same amount in total per day; anything above the limit is voided, whatever the multiplier in the calculation.
- One promotion per household. Each offer is valid once per person, family, address, phone number and payment account. In Kenya, where a single smartphone is often shared by several people in a home, this restriction is breached without any intent to do so.
Taxes
Deductions are automatic, go to the Kenya Revenue Authority and appear in your transaction history; the operator’s support team will issue a deduction statement on request. We do not advise on tax and cannot determine whether you have any further obligations: that is a question for a tax professional or for the KRA directly.
Our materials and the limits of our responsibility
The texts, breakdowns, tables and selections belong to the editorial team. They may not be copied in full, republished on other resources or used commercially without written consent; quoting with attribution is permitted. We do not publish comments, testimonials or user ratings.
Opening an account, depositing money, placing bets and claiming bonuses are your decisions alone. We give no personal recommendations, provide no legal advice and bear no responsibility for money lost, disputes with the operator or a closed account. We are not intermediaries: we have no influence over the platform’s decisions, we cannot speed up payouts, unblock accounts or guarantee that funds are safe. And, since we are asked about it constantly: we publish no predictions, no “working systems” for Aviator, and we recommend no predictor apps. The outcome of a round in crash games is random and does not depend on previous rounds; any app or channel claiming otherwise is misleading you.
How to stay in control
Four rules that work more reliably than any strategy:
- Stake only money you can lose without it affecting your budget;
- Set a limit before the session starts;
- In crash games, switch on auto cash-out, so the decision is made for you rather than by your emotions;
- At the first sign of losing control, apply for self-exclusion.
The operator does provide tools: deposit and loss limits, session time limits and self-exclusion. An application is submitted through support or via the form on the responsible gambling page; the cooling-off period begins within 48 hours, after which the account is locked for the chosen term. It is sensible to withdraw any remaining balance before applying, as access closes once the lock takes effect. Lifting the lock at the end of the term requires a separate written request.
